Hello 6th Graders! I hope you all had a wonderful 3-day weekend. Now it's time to jump back into school mode, wrap up our first unit, and dive into our 2nd unit where we will be learning about Greatest Common Factors, Least Common Multiples, and Operations with Decimals and Fractions.
Monday: No School-Labor Day Tuesday: Chapter 1 Recall Prior Knowledge- Page 3 #1-11 all Wednesday: Students are working Reflex, test corrections from the Unit 1 test on Friday, and completing page 3. Thursday: Students are working on Reflex, test corrections from the Unit 1 test on Friday, and completing page 3. Last week was such an eventful week with the Solar Eclipse Event and Curriculum Night. This week we will be wrapping up our first Unit: The Real Number System and hopefully getting to the test this Friday! Rough Outline of the Week: Monday- Re-teach/Make-up Work Day Tuesday- 9.2 Lesson (Length of Line Segments) & Practice (page 58 #1-6, 10-14) Wednesday- 9.2 Practice (page 58 #1-6, 10-14) Thursday- Unit 1 Test Review Friday- Unit 1 Test Have a great & safe 3 day weekend everyone :) YAY! Our first full week of school was a huge success! Students are getting the hang of their new schedule and fitting right into our Middle School family. Last week we wrapped up our learning on Number Lines, Absolute Value, and Negative Numbers. This week will continue our practice and jump into the Coordinate Plane! Students will also be given their Reflex Math logins and will have time to practice their multiplication and division through Reflex in class this week.
